Dec 1 – AIDS Benefit – Jenny, Alura, Beyonda, Wanda, Demona, and Yada

Jenny was on the planning committee for this event which benefitted APSS. She and Wanda worked at the entrance to the show/event selling rosaries that the Sisters had made with AIDS ribbons, slices of bread, and trans or pride flags on them. The money from the sale of these rosaries was given directly to APSS that night, raising $300 as a donation from the Bread Basket Sisters. We gave glitter blessings, handed out condoms, and spread joy. Alura and Yada performed in the show, and gave artistic support to the cause. Demona helped host the show, Beyonda volunteered to do the spotlight, and Jenny offered a blessing at the commencement of the show.
