Aug 11 – Meme Queens Drag Show - Jenny and Alura

This marked the first time that the Bread Basket Sisters were able to help with man-power and volunteerism for the local community-owed non-profit LGBT bar, “Q”. The Gay and Lesbian Community of Regina (GLCR) operates this bar and provides a safe-space and community centre environment for the LGBTQ+ folks in our city, so as a group we have decided this will be the main group for which we offer our support. Jenny and Alura worked at the door of the show and spread joy, information about the Sisters, and helped make the fundraiser drag show a success.
